About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support our customer in their modernization project. This position combines hands-on manual and automated testing with REST API testing, user acceptance testing, and business analysis.
What you will do
- Develop formal test plans, test cases, scenarios, and automation scripts.
- Build, maintain, and scale custom automation frameworks using Selenium or equivalent tools.
- Update automation scripts as interfaces change and new features are deployed.
- Validate REST APIs and microservices, including endpoints, contracts, and payloads.
- Facilitate UAT and participate in Joint Application Development sessions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and process models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, understand data needs, resolve issues, and document solutions.
Required experience
- 7 years in Quality Assurance and/or Business Analysis.
- 7 years each in manual testing, automation testing, custom framework development, and automation script maintenance.
- 7 years with Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server.
- 7 years with Agile software development.
- 7 years each in UAT, JAD techniques, and facilitating business-process meetings.
- 7 years each in functional-to-technical specifications, process modeling, stakeholder collaboration, and technical documentation.
- 5 years testing REST APIs and microservices.
- Proficiency with Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent API testing tools.
- Strong communication, active listening, problem solving, and independent delivery skills.
Preferred qualifications
- IT-related Bachelor of Science degree.
