Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid in Milwaukee, WI (Must be WI Resident)
Pay Rate: $28 - 32/hr
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide escalated end-user technical support. This role requires expert-level knowledge of Windows environments, desktop technology, and Microsoft Office Suite. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to supporting mission-critical systems and ensuring smooth operations across desktop, mobile, and multi-function device environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for Windows desktop operating systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from the internal Service Desk.
- Support and maintain desktop applications, multi-function devices (print/fax/copier/scanner), and mobile devices (Android, iPhone, iPad).
- Ensure compliance with work rules and security standards.
- Deliver customer-focused support with clear communication and documentation.
- 5 years of end-user technical support in Windows environments
- 5 years supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11
- 5 years installing and supporting the Microsoft Office Suite
- 5 years of extensive knowledge with desktop technology
