Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist L2
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 desktop and technical support for end users across the site.
- Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Support MAC,Windows OS, iOS devices (iPhones/iPads) for tracking hardware and software.
- Handle incident resolution related to hardware failures, OS issues, application errors, login/AD problems, and network connectivity.
- Perform system imaging, device upgrades, patching, and deployment of new equipment.
- Support network-related issues, including VPN, switches, wireless access points, and basic LAN troubleshooting.
- Conduct daily health checks on systems, hardware, and network components to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory including laptops, desktops, monitors, accessories, and licensed software using AMC/asset management systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalations, system outages, and cross-functional technical issues.
- Provide on-site and occasional after-hours support for priority incidents or scheduled maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of IT support experience, OR
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Windows OS, desktop hardware, printers, and common enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting iOS mobile devices (setup, troubleshooting, configuration, MDM tools preferred).
- Experience with hardware repair, imaging tools, deployment processes, and system upgrades.
- Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
