RN Position Details and Responsibilities:
- Review, initiate, and implement care plan in accordance with the client’s needs.
- Provide one-on-one direct nursing care in the home with medically complex clients of all ages.
- Medication management & administration
- Monitor vital signs & medical equipment.
- Perform physician-ordered interventions, such as tracheostomy or ventilator care when applicable.
- Educating clients and families while providing companionship and emotional support.
- Regular assessments, charting any client changes in condition, progress, & care needs & notifying the DON accordingly
- Assist with other total care nursing duties.
- Make independent clinical decisions when necessary.
Shift Options (depending on client):
- Day, evenings, Overnights
- Weekends when available
- FT, PT, & PRN available with most clients
- 6–12-hour shifts
RN Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- BLS Certification
- Pediatric experience (preferred, but not required)
- High acuity, Trach/Vent experience (preferred, but not required)
Pay: $32-$35
