National Sales Director – Data Center & Digital Infrastructure
Location: Conroe, TX (with Travel)
Teal Energi is partnering with a privately owned energy infrastructure platform to add a senior commercial leader to run its Data Center & Digital Infrastructure sales vertical. This role is responsible for building and scaling national revenue by developing long‑term, infrastructure‑based partnerships with data center and mission‑critical customers.
This is not a commodity sales role. The organization operates as an infrastructure owner/operator, delivering natural gas–based, on‑site power and energy solutions that enable reliability, resiliency, and long‑term performance for digital infrastructure assets.
What You’ll Do
- Own and lead the national sales strategy for data center and digital infrastructure customers
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline, control revenue timing, and drive deal execution from inception through contract close
- Lead sales of integrated infrastructure solutions, including on‑site power generation, compression, conditioning, redundancy, and lifecycle support
- Personally manage and expand relationships with strategic data center accounts, increasing site count, capacity, and contract duration
- Structure and negotiate complex, long‑term agreements tied to infrastructure deployment, performance commitments, and service levels
- Partner closely with engineering, operations, and delivery teams to ensure commercial commitments are executable
- Represent the company with customers and within the industry through conferences, events, and stakeholder engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Direct experience selling into data centers, digital infrastructure, or mission‑critical facilities (owners, operators, developers, or EPCs serving them)
- Senior‑level sales or commercial leadership experience with capital‑intensive, engineered infrastructure or energy solutions
- Strong understanding of on‑site power generation, natural gas‑based infrastructure, and reliability‑driven environments
- Demonstrated success managing long, complex sales cycles and clearly articulating how and when revenue is realized across the lifecycle of infrastructure deployments
- Credibility engaging technical, operational, and executive‑level decision makers
- Comfort operating in a growth environment where structure, process, and discipline are built and refined
