Salary: $65,000–$75,000
A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Brooklyn office and community space. This person will serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and well-functioning environment for staff, visitors, and community members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations, supplies, common areas, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate maintenance requests and serve as liaison to building management
- Handle bill pay, invoice tracking, and administrative financial tasks
- Support events, meetings, and community programs, including occasional evening/weekend coverage
- Maintain calendars, records, website updates, and other operational systems
- Serve as a key resource for staff, visitors, and external partners
Qualifications:
- 3 years of office management, operations, facilities, administrative, or hospitality experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable coordinating vendors, facilities issues, and administrative processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common business applications
