Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator/Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical office management skills, experience with EMR/EHR systems, and a solid understanding of dental procedures and terminology. This role involves coordinating patient care, managing administrative tasks, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative support
- Coordinate dental treatment plans with patients and ensure clear communication regarding procedures and financial options
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks
- Supervise office staff, including receptionists and clinical support personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
- Handle fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation
- Assist in managing practice growth initiatives, including marketing and patient retention strategies
- Provide training and support on EMR/EHR systems to staff members
- Ensure clinic compliance with JCAHO standards and other accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient care workflows and improve service delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical or dental office management; dental clinic experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare management systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership skills
- Expertise in fiscal management, budgeting, and financial oversight within a medical practice
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with medical administrative support roles or practice management is highly desirable
- Knowledge of managed care processes and utilization management is advantageous
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and EMR/EHR systems for seamless office operations
Pay: $25.82 - $32.00 per hour
