Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements
- Collaborate with the leadership team to establish and follow key processes
- Lead, train, and coach the accounting team, ensuring efficient and accurate work
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, Supervise the monthly close-out process, and support the company’s annual audit
- Hire, train, and supervise staff accountants including A/R, A/P, Budget, and Corporate Reporting
- Develop and implement control systems in a changing business environment
- Maintain an organizational structure with the appropriate staffing, to accomplish the department’s objectives and goals
- Interface with vendors and customers, to ensure pricing models are consistent with company guidelines
- Provide financial reports to summarize and project the company’s financial position
- Collaborate with IT to leverage ERP systems and resolve issues in a fast-paced business environment
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Certified Public Accounting (CPA) preferred
- 5 years of related experience in accounting, finance, or similar roles
- Strong Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet applications as well as Power BI
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced skills in financial software
- Experience with Microsoft D365 strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information

- Experience in coaching and supervising teams to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry experience a plus
