Randstad is seeking a Vice President, Finance, that will provide strategic financial leadership for the organization, overseeing all fiscal operations. This includes leading the accounting, compliance, and reporting functions, as well as managing budgets, forecasting, and investment strategies. Compensation: $140,000-$165,000 annually, plus a 15% performance bonus.

responsibilities:
- Partner with Executive Leadership and Heads of Departments to align long-term financial strategy with business execution and growth objectives, utilizing broad financial acumen and future-focused planning.
- Lead the development, rigorous monitoring, and sophisticated analysis of all organizational budgets and operational strategies, translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations for management.
- Manage critical financial functions, including cash flow, liquidity, debt portfolios, and corporate investment strategies to ensure resource adequacy.
- Direct all fiscal reporting (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow), and ensure stringent regulatory compliance, including strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Establish, implement, and enforce robust financial policies and internal control systems to safeguard assets, strengthen accountability, and ensure governance.
- Oversee the annual independent audit process and cultivate strong relationships with banks, independent auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Apply strong knowledge of nonprofit finance, including restricted/unrestricted funding, government grants, and appropriate cost allocation methodologies.
- Drive organizational change, facilitate major transitions (e.g., ERP implementations, restructuring), and scale financial operations for a multi-site or growing organization.
- Act as a Communication Bridge, translating financial concepts for non-financial management, with superior skills in influencing, engaging, and driving a culture of accountability and partnership.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration is preferred.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of in a senior leadership role (Director, VP, or CFO).
- 5 years of experience managing the finances of a nonprofit organization with complex, multi-source funding.
- Deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards proficiency with donor-restricted funds, government grants, and cost allocation methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading the annual independent audit process and ensuring financial reporting complies with US GAAP for non-profits.
- Experience in strategic cash flow management, liquidity planning, debt management, and implementing robust internal control systems.
