Tatum by Randstad is working with a well established non-profit organization that is looking to bring on an Accounting Manager on a contract to hire basis. The organization is on a hybrid schedule and is looking for an experienced accounting professional with prior non-profit accounting experience to take on the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the month end close and supervise/mentor the accounting team
- Serve as the non-profit accounting subject matter expert and be able to manage accounting for multiple revenue streams
- Take on ad hoc accounting projects and ensure that allowable and unallowable costs are being accounted for correctly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
- CPA is a plus
- 5 years of experience leading the month end close
- 5 years of non-profit accounting experience
- Prior experience supervising and mentoring an accounting team
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and ways to streamline the month end process
