As the Indirect Underwriter, you’ll evaluate consumer lending applications, assess credit risk, and make informed underwriting decisions while balancing accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional member service. You’ll manage a consistent application volume, collaborate with internal teams, and help ensure a seamless lending experience from application through decision.
The ideal candidate will have experience underwriting indirect, auto, or consumer loans and a strong understanding of credit evaluation and risk assessment. They will also bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and experience with a loan origination system is a must.
