About the Role:

The Tube Bander plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by precisely bending and shaping metal tubes to meet exact specifications. This position ensures that all tubing components are fabricated accurately to support the production of high-quality finished products. The Tube Bander will work closely with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with design requirements. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount to maintain operational efficiency and product integrity. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the seamless flow of manufacturing operations and the delivery of reliable components to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating tube bending or similar metal fabrication machinery.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in metal fabrication or machining.
• Experience with CNC tube bending equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures in manufacturing.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on tube bending machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate tube bending machinery to form metal tubes according to specified dimensions and angles.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine bending requirements.
• Set up and adjust equipment to ensure precision and quality in tube bending processes.
• Inspect finished tubes for accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address any issues or defects promptly.
• Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
