POSITION TITLE: Bander
DEPARTMENT: Tarter Tube
REPORTS TO: Supervisor
STATUS: Full Time Hourly Position
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Place banding and boards around bundles of tubes. Tighten bands, install seal, and apply bundle tag.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by management, and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific Tarter site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):
- Band bundles
- Complete and apply bundle tag
- Maintain clean work area - use squeegee to keep water out of floor
- Assist with cutting banding to length from coil
- Carry/separate/organize boards used in bundling process
- Other duties as assigned
- Assist in mill changeover
