Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Taquero - Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties

• Prepare traditional and innovative tacos using fresh ingredients, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation standards are met.
• Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, assembling, and cooking ingredients with precision and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish presentation to enhance customer experience.
• Serve customers directly at the counter or in a restaurant setting with friendly, efficient service.
• Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly, including proper storage, portioning, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a culinary environment, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting focusing on Mexican cuisine or similar cuisine styles.
• Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal assembly.
• Experience working in fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential.
• Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous but not required.
• Strong understanding of menu planning and food service operations.
