Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes, drinks, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and restaurant policies with clarity and courtesy.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems; process payments swiftly while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation practices throughout your shift.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues proactively.
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements for maximum guest comfort.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs.
• Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive interactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for order processing and sales tracking.
• Experience in upselling techniques that enhance guest experience while increasing revenue.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through strong time management skills during high-volume shifts.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing are essential.

Pay: $2.14 - $2.50 per hour
