Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Daily set-up and breakdown of outdoor dining areas, including arranging and storing tables and chairs, umbrellas, fencing, and other equipment to ensure guest areas are safe, organized, and ready for service.
- Perform snow removal on restaurant decks, walkways, entrances, and other guest-accessible areas to maintain safe conditions throughout the day.
- Prepare outdoor furniture and equipment for grooming operations or significant snowfall by storm stacking or securing items as needed.
- Deliver food promptly and accurately, ensuring each order reached the correct guest while maintaining presentation and service standards.
- Quickly and efficiently clear dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables.
- Dispose of food waste, liquids, recyclables, and landfill trash.
- Promptly sanitize tables to prepare for incoming guests.
- Set or reset tables with plates, silverware, glassware, etc. as needed.
- Keep dining areas clean and organized, spot-cleaning floors when necessary.
- Assist with general tasks such as product restocking, trash and recycling removal, and reshelving clean serviceware.
- Work collaboratively with all restaurant staff to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Follow health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
- Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays.

Qualifications/Knowledge:
- Previous experience in a restaurant is a plus.
- Must already have or be willing to complete the New Mexico Food Handlers Certification upon hire.
- Must already have or be willing to complete the New Mexico Alcohol Server Certification upon hire.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate in a positive and productive manner while performing duties.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment with extreme elements. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or high UV conditions. 100% of the time may be spent being exposed to the outdoors, including winter weather conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
Will often lift and carry up to 35 pounds and may team-lift up to 100 pounds. 80-100% of the time will be spent standing, walking, reaching, and verbal communication. Ability to acclimate to a high-altitude environment.
