A medical practice is seeking a PMR Physician for an outpatient role split between Tremont in the Bronx and New Rochelle, New York.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to determine rehabilitation needs and appropriate treatment plans
- Diagnose pain and functional limitations related to injury, disease, or disabling conditions
- Perform and oversee procedures such as trigger point, soft tissue, and joint injections
- Manage ongoing patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing, including EMG/NCV studies and imaging
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through ABPMR
- Experience with injections and prescribing medications
Desired Skills:
- Experience in outpatient musculoskeletal physiatry
- Familiarity with workers' compensation and no-fault injury care
- Experience coordinating care with physical therapists and other specialists
- Knowledge of orthotic device prescribing and fitting
Salary : $250,000 - $350,000
