A Florida health services network is seeking a Pharmacist in Casselberry to support pharmacy operations in a patient-focused clinical setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 6pm (8am to 12pm on Fridays)
- Setting: In-person, pharmacy
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately while supporting daily pharmacy workflow
- Supervise pharmacy staff and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Provide patient counseling on new and changed therapies, drug interactions, dosage, side effects, and storage
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, controlled substance procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Manage inventory, documentation, third-party billing issues, and other pharmacy-related operational tasks
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of recent licensed pharmacist experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Active FL Pharmacist license in the state of Florida
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual
- BLS CPR certification
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center environment
- Experience with 340B pharmacy operations
- Experience in a retail pharmacy such as Publix, Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens
