What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Talon Precision?
B&A Precision, a CNC job shop which has been in business for over 50 years manufacturing components for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries, is seeking an energetic quality engineer with the following skill sets:
Key responsibilities:
Perform first piece acceptance inspections on the shop floor supporting CNC manufacturing operations.
Conduct in process inspections as necessary.
Compete the final inspection and documentation packages on finished parts prior to shipment.
Other tasks as assigned.
Required skills:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a job shop environment.
Experience required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment inspecting machined components using standard inspection instruments (micrometers, height gage, indicators, etc.).
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
Capable of interpreting and working with customers paperwork to complete final inspection documents necessary to ship finished product.
Knowledge of Trigonometry a plus
Working knowledge of gage calibration systems a plus.
