Summary
Responsible for maintaining the resort’s linen and terry. Inventories, organizes and stocks the linen for the guest rooms.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience preferred but not required.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists in stripping rooms of dirty linen and trash.
- Washes microfiber rags.
- Cleans patio furniture.
- Shampoos carpets.
- Stores, inventories, and issues or distributes bed linen.
- Collects/receives, segregates, counts, and records number of items of soiled linen and places items in containers.
- Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability.
- Stores laundered items on shelves, after verifying numbers and types of items.
- Counts and assembles laundered items on cart or linen truck, records amounts of linens to fill requisitions, and transports carts to floors.
- Keeps linen room in clean and orderly condition.
- Provides customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities and local attractions. Responsible for the timely delivery of guest requests.
- Stocks housekeeping carts/closets. Refills chemical bottles.
- Cleans and maintains public areas of the hotel as well as the elevators.
