Brief Description
Job Title: EVS FLOOR TECHNICIAN
Location: Casino Arizona
Shift: 12am - 8am | Fulltime
Department: Environmental Services
Reports To: EVS Shift Supervisor
Summary
Performs floor-cleaning work on all floor surfaces including VCT, terrazzo, quarry tile and other floor surfaces on a daily basis. Keeps floors maintained and in a finished state at all times. Helps resolve floor issues that might arise during any given day.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 2 years of professional/commercial floor care experience required with working knowledge of hard surface floor care including tile, VCT, stone and marble. Must have experience in maintenance of stone floors. Must be fully knowledgeable in the operation of floor machines.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

- Keeps terrazzo floor clean and with a glossy appearance at all times. This will include restoration and daily maintenance.
- Keeps all VCT floor in a glossy appearance at all times using accepted methods that may include stripping and waxing, daily burnishing and other means necessary to achieve these goals.
- Evaluates floor conditions on a daily basis and works with supervisors to ensure all floors are kept to casino standards.
- Keeps all stone surfaces, in the casino, appropriately glossy at all times by cleaning and/or maintaining as outlined by Housekeeping Supervisors.
