Greets restaurant patrons with a positive friendly attitude. Seats patrons in a timely manner ensuring that the guest has a favorable dining experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 1-year work experience in an F&B environment. Cashiering experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid Maricopa County Food Handler's Card.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures excellent customer service for every guest, every time.
- Provides guests courteous, friendly efficient service.
- Manage the wait list, reservations, and guest seating using the designated reservation/host system.
- Coordinate table assignments to balance server sections and maintain efficient service flow.
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus or relevant information.
- Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and provide accurate information about hours, menus, and services.
- Communicate wait times clearly and accurately to guests.
- Retrieves supplies from storage when necessary
- Cleans and organizes all shelves and storage areas
- Preps and restocks for next shift
- Helps to clear and set tables when necessary.
- Computes bill, provides correct change and issues receipts or tickets to patrons.
- Completes cashier checkout and turns into cage.
- Uses equipment as instructed to ensure safety and proper care of equipment.
- Communicates to supervisory staff when assistance is necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entryway, menus, and lobby area in accordance with established health and safety standards.
- Assist with guest accessibility needs, high chairs, boosters, and special requests.
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth transitions and timely table turns.
- Support opening and closing duties, including preparing materials, cleaning the front-of-house area, and verifying reservation books/systems.
- Complies with all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Ensures that designated work areas, flatware, glasses, dinnerware and other used to serve customers are free from hazards (i.e. chips, breaks, cracks, liquid on floor, etc.).
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Credit Card Compliance requirements commonly known as PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance by attending training provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management. Signature verification of course attendance will be required.
- Responsible for following the PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance regulations to protect card holder data and adhere to the standards to protect guests’ private card information. This includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting inappropriate card handling activity, of either customers or by employees, as defined by PCI.
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, by attending Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training, provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management and outlined in the Title 31 Minimum Internal Controls.
