Job Title: Commercial Roofing Estimator

Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 Base Bonus

About The Opportunity

A well-established commercial roofing contractor is hiring a Commercial Roofing Estimator in Dallas, TX due to continued growth and strong project backlog.

This role focuses on estimating commercial roofing and waterproofing projects including reroof, replacement, and new construction. The estimator will work closely with project managers, operations, and clients during the preconstruction process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for commercial roofing projects
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform material takeoffs and cost analysis
• Conduct roof inspections and site visits when required
• Prepare proposals and scope summaries
• Work with project managers during project handoff
• Assist with change orders and scope verification
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of estimating experience in commercial roofing or construction
• Strong understanding of roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, Metal, and Coatings
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with estimating software such as EDGE, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar
• Experience with plan/spec or consultant-driven projects
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• $95,000 – $115,000 base salary
