About the Opportunity
IntegriBuilt Roofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator with a proven track record in new construction, negotiated contracts, and competitive bidding. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in The EDGE estimating software, understands commercial roofing systems, and consistently delivers accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects, including new construction, re-roofing, negotiated work, and competitive bids.
- Utilize The EDGE estimating software for material takeoffs, labor calculations, and comprehensive project estimates.
- Review architectural plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate scopes of work.
- Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Develop negotiated proposals, bid packages, and value engineering alternatives.
- Identify scope gaps, project risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and project management to ensure successful project handoffs.
- Maintain accurate bid documentation, historical cost data, and estimating records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
- Documented, hands-on proficiency with The EDGE estimating software — REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated success estimating new construction, negotiated contracts, and competitive bid projects.
- Strong knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, and commercial metal roofing systems.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Understanding of labor productivity, material costs, project margins, and commercial roofing installation methods.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.

- Examples of commercial roofing projects they have personally estimated.
