About the Role
The Head of Finance will be responsible for leading the health, growth & financial performance of TalentoHC with a primary emphasis on strategic planning, FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, legal, and procurement functions. This leader will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, building the financial and operational infrastructure required to scale the business toward a long-term vision of $1B in revenue by 2040
Responsibilities
Develop and institutionalize a data-driven operating model, including KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, forecasting processes, and performance management systems that improve accountability and decision-making across the business.Direct all FP&A functions, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and executive reporting.Partner with executive leadership to drive profitable growth, optimize margins, improve operating leverage, and evaluate strategic business initiatives.Oversee all accounting, tax, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance, strong internal controls, and accurate financial operations across a multi-entity organization.Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and long-term capital strategy while supporting fundraising, investor relations, and financial institution partnerships.Build scalable financial infrastructure, systems, and reporting capabilities to support domestic and international expansion across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration efforts for M&A transactions, serving as the primary financial liaison with investors, ownership groups, and acquisition targets.Implement business intelligence and financial reporting solutions that provide real-time visibility into operational and financial performance.Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic planning, market expansion, procurement, vendor management, and operational initiatives to drive sustainable growth and enterprise value creation.
Required Skills
10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on FP&A, Controllership, strategic planning, and scaling high-growth businesses. Proven experience partnering with executive leadership to drive business performance, growth, and operational efficiency. Demonstrated success in building global financial infrastructure and processes in a scaling organization (preferably from $10M–$100M ). Global management experience key as with. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience in staffing, professional services, or people-based business models is strongly preferred. Exposure to capital strategy, fundraising, banking relationships, and/or M&A activity is a plus. High learning agility, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate as an embedded partner within the organization. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics required; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
