Position Overview
The Software Developer II is a mid-level technical position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both modern and legacy web applications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance ASP.NET (Web Forms, MVC) and Blazor applications.
- Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.
- Refactor and modernize legacy code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers throughout the SDLC.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in architectural and design discussions; contribute to coding standards and best practices.
- Work independently on moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision.
- Support CI/CD processes and effectively utilize version control tools.
Qualification Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience using Microsoft technologies.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms & MVC), Blazor, and .NET Core.
- Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or MSTest.
- Experience in Agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira (preferred).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
