What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist - 1st Shift position at Talento Search Group?
Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Machinist in the Suwanee, Georgia area. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift.
This position requires specialized knowledge.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setup and operation of gear CNC machines
- Perform offsets and edits on programs
- Verify quality of work
- Meet daily production goals
- Maintain proper inventory of hand tools and inspection equipment
- Record product and processing data
- Wear PPE as needed
Experience Needed:
- Associates Degree in Machine Shop Technology is preferred
- At least 3 years of CNC machining of gears
- Experience reading blueprints, GD&T, and inspection reports
- Experience with Gleason, Nidec, KAPP, Liebherr, or similar gear manufacturing equipment
- Experience performing changeovers and changing tooling
- Basic math skills
- Ability to produce parts with tight tolerances
- Programming experience is preferred
