You will have the opportunity to impact transactions, portfolio growth, and firm development in a dynamic investment team environment based in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze new investment opportunities across target industry sectors.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and draft investment materials.
- Lead due diligence processes, coordinating with legal, financial, and operational workstreams.
- Support and drive transaction execution from sourcing through deal close.
- Prepare and present investment committee materials and presentations.
- Partner with portfolio company management to design and execute value creation initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on investor relations, fundraising, and internal firm projects.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5–8 years of direct experience in private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory roles.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting due diligence and transaction execution processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective as a collaborative team player.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- 2–3 years of direct private equity experience specifically within the middle or lower middle market.
