- Serve as a strategic legal partner to product, engineering, compliance, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide legal guidance on the design, development, launch, and scaling of financial technology products.
- Advise on securities law matters.
- Provide regulatory guidance related to securities regulations, financial services activities, and SEC-regulated products.
- Analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business solutions.
- Support product initiatives involving financial products, regulated technology solutions, and strategic business initiatives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements.
- Build scalable legal processes, frameworks, and documentation to support business growth.
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- 5–10 years of legal experience within fintech or financial services.
- Experience providing product counseling.
- Significant experience advising on securities law matters.
- Experience supporting broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, or other SEC-regulated entities.
- Familiarity with payments or emerging financial technologies.
- Experience with privacy and data-related product counseling.
- Background supporting high-growth technology companies.
- Experience building legal processes and frameworks from the ground up.
Salary : $300,000 - $350,000
