Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Dallas, Texas
Hybrid: 4 days onsite
Salary: $95,000-$110,000 15% bonus

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and support the month-end close process.
- Perform general ledger analysis and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
- Apply revenue recognition guidance under ASC 606 and lease accounting under ASC 842.
- Review accounts payable transactions and ensure proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with corporate financial reporting, annual audits, tax support, and external audit requests.
- Partner with finance, operations, and asset management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Support process improvements, accounting system enhancements, and internal control initiatives.
- Assist with special projects and other corporate accounting responsibilities as needed.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Technical accounting (experience with ASC606 and ASC842).
- Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheets
- Advanced Excel experience
- Experience using ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite and Yardi
- Strong numeracy, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working in the Real Estate industry
- CPA qualification or progress toward certification
- Experience with fee schedules and investor reporting
