Responsibilities:
This is a full-time, on-site role located in St. Paul, MN, for a Director of Food and Beverage. The Director will oversee daily operations of food and beverage services, ensuring a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences. Primary responsibilities include leading and managing food service teams, ensuring high culinary and service standards, managing budgets effectively, and maintaining an exceptional level of customer satisfaction. The Director will also collaborate with other departments to execute events and maintain the hotel's reputation for excellence.
Must-Have Skills:
- Multi-Outlet Food & Beverage Operations Leadership
Proven ability to oversee restaurants, banquets, and event-driven service environments simultaneously while maintaining consistency and brand standards. - P&L Management & Budget Accountability
Strong command of forecasting, cost control, labor management, and driving profitability across multiple revenue centers. - Guest Experience & Service Excellence Leadership
Track record of building high-performing teams that consistently deliver luxury-level service and top-tier guest satisfaction scores.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Luxury Brand / Four- or Five-Diamond Experience
Prior work in upper-upscale or luxury hotel environments with strong brand standards and guest expectation management. - Large-Scale Banquet & Event Execution Expertise
Experience managing high-volume meetings, conventions, and catered events (25,000 sq. ft. or similar scale environments). - Union or Complex Labor Environment Experience
Familiarity with unionized teams or large, multi-department staffing models, including scheduling complexity and workforce management.
