Responsibilities:
- Lead and organize all inbound supply chain activities, including material planning, warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve material flows for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods to optimize production and reduce waste.
- Ensure all warehouse and material handling processes are carried out with strict safety standards, discipline, and operational efficiency.
- Execute raw material strategies to meet production needs, balancing inventory availability with working capital efficiency.
- Leverage ERP and logistics systems (such as JDE, SAP, WMS) to advance accuracy, automation, traceability, and throughput.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Production, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to align objectives and resolve issues.
- Develop, lead, and coach a diverse team covering scheduling, material planning, shipping, receiving, and warehouse management.
- Drive continuous improvement through lean leadership, workshop facilitation, and data-driven problem solving.
- Monitor and manage KPIs related to inventory accuracy, OTIF, warehouse productivity, lead time, and working capital.
- Contribute strategic input to site management on logistics investments, automation, and operational priorities.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, engineering, business, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in supply chain, inbound logistics, warehouse management, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing supply chain processes including inbound logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, lean principles, and material planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (JD Edwards/JDE, SAP, WMS) and advanced Excel/data analysis for inventory and performance management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams with clear accountability and operational standards.
- Practical, hands-on approach; results-driven, analytical mindset, and comfortable working on the shop floor.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with automation technologies, EGVs, or advanced warehouse management solutions.
- Background in implementing lean methodologies and leading improvement workshops.
- Knowledge of 3PL partnerships and import/export logistics.
- Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) best practices in logistics and warehousing.
- Ability to deliver strategic input for warehouse layout design and logistics capital investments.
