About the Opportunity:
My client, a premier consumer technology platform, is seeking a Director of FP&A. This pivotal leadership role acts as the central link connecting executive financial strategy directly to daily commercial execution.
You will step into a seat of comprehensive operational ownership, leading cross-functional teams to maximize efficiency and drive long-term profitability across multiple business units. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for an operational architect who thrives on building sustainable infrastructure and translating financial data into immediate business actions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financials, budgeting, forecasting for Hardware.
- Maintain complete oversight of corporate fiscal performance, maximizing target operating models and optimizing capital allocation paths.
- Drive the evolution of enterprise-wide planning frameworks, ensuring predictive forecasts mirror ongoing organizational expansion.
- Partner closely with department heads to analyze internal workflows and implement scalable systems improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and upscale an integrated corporate finance team, establishing a proactive culture of commercial partnership.
- Design and execute sophisticated reporting methodologies to provide executive leadership with absolute visibility into cash flows and unit economics.
Must-Have Skills:
- 7 years of progressive corporate leadership experience balancing accounting mechanics with commercial operational strategy.
- Must come from Manufacturing & Hardware.
- Must have extensive experience managing financials for Engineering / Technology.
- Proven background navigating corporate finance strategy inside fast-growing, private equity-backed, or high-velocity business ecosystems.
- Prior success implementing and optimizing enterprise corporate planning platforms (EPM) to scale internal infrastructure.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Active CPA credential or an advanced master's degree in business or finance.
- Hands-on experience navigating data models within digital subscription, tech platform, or highly scaled consumer models.
- Advanced technical familiarity with modern cloud-based business intelligence tools and data visualization architectures.
