As the Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making and compliance by managing essential accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise records of asset inventory and valuations across multiple entities.
- Develop and implement effective asset management strategies to optimize resources.
- Collaborate closely with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct regular assessments of accounting processes to identify and drive improvements.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations in asset and financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Support the Director of Finance and Controller in delivering timely, accurate financial data for business decisions.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in preparation of financial statements or management reports.
- Proven ability with fixed asset and property tax reporting.
- Prior experience with inventory management systems and processes.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and working with databases or associated applications.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Previous work in agricultural companies or a related industry environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background with CPA firms or equivalent accounting organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Minimum five years of proven accounting experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
