Senior Financial Analyst

This role plays a crucial part within the company, focusing on analyzing the portfolio to identify and mitigate potential revenue declines. It is instrumental in driving organizational change and is responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing effective improvement processes and procedures. The person in this position works collaboratively with field partners and corporate executives to cultivate financial insights and strategies that support the company's growth initiatives.

• Portfolio Analysis: Perform evaluations of the company's portfolio to detect areas where revenue may be lost.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies and systems to improve the detection and correction of revenue assurance opportunities, which may involve creating reports, tools, or analytics to monitor revenue flows and identify anomalies.
• Process Development and Documentation: Designs and documents detailed processes related to revenue management and financial insights.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with various stakeholders, including field partners and revenue management leaders, to understand opportunities and align revenue management strategies with the company's broader goals.
• Financial Analysis: Offers finance-based insights and ideas that support the company's growth strategies and pricing models.
• Performs other duties as required or as apparent.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in charting, database and cube connections (Power Query/Power Pivot), macros, and SQL.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to compile and structure large datasets from various sources to devise solutions.
• Experience in the waste industry or a subscription-based sector.
• Capability to apply financial concepts and principles to business applications.

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in revenue assurance, revenue management, finance, accounting, auditing, billing, pricing, or related fields.
