Our client is seeking a skilled professional to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring seamless coordination across three shifts. This role is pivotal in maintaining efficient storage and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Manage a team of approximately 40 hourly employees, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and verify data with warehousing systems to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to materials handling, storage, and distribution.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures diligently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, policies, and procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a team.
- Experience in making personnel decisions, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- High school diploma required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
