Join our client's Global Continuous Improvement (CI) Team to lead impactful initiatives across global operations. Enhance manufacturing, supply chain, and operational support functions, contributing to the mission of securing the world's food and animal supply chains.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional Lean Six Sigma projects aligned with strategic business priorities.
- Apply methodologies like DMAIC and Kaizen to improve People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (PSQDC).
- Act as a change agent, engaging stakeholders through facilitation, coaching, and communication.
- Coach teams in Lean Six Sigma tools, develop training content, and mentor early-career professionals.
- Collaborate with domestic and international sites to share best practices and deploy improvement efforts.
- Contribute to the global CI roadmap and support documentation of standard work and visual controls.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognized institution.
- 7-10 years of experience in implementing CI initiatives in manufacturing settings.
- Success in managing large-scale CI projects with measurable ROI.
- Willingness to travel internationally 30%-50%.
- Preferred: Experience in biotechnology, food safety, or regulated industries; MBA or graduate coursework.
- Regular interaction with manufacturing shop floors, lab environments, and office settings.
- Occasional lifting or physical activity during gemba walks or process observations.
- Work may be performed at either the Lansing, MI or Lexington, KY site.
- International and domestic travel required (up to 50%).
