Our client is on the lookout for a strategic leader to drive fleet sales operations across the nation. This role is pivotal in crafting and executing sales strategies that boost revenue, maximize market reach, and elevate customer engagement. You'll be at the helm of a talented sales team, nurturing a culture of excellence and accountability while working closely with other departments to ensure sales initiatives align with the company’s broader goals. A deep understanding of the fleet industry, coupled with exceptional leadership skills, is essential for delivering customized solutions that cater to our customers' needs.

National Sales Manager- Fleet Solutions

  • Manage 5 Fleet Account Executives through the US (**prior Fleet Sales experience required)
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet annual revenue and margin targets within the U.S.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of fleet sales representatives, providing them with the necessary tools and training for success.
  • Foster strong relationships with key fleet customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments and offer constructive feedback to team members for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver tailored solutions and align promotional activities and product launches.
  • Oversee the fleet sales process from quote acquisition to the delivery of upfitted vehicles.
  • Stay informed about the company's products and services.
  • Must be local or willing to relocate
  • Travel 25-50%
Qualifications
  • Required:
    • 5 years of experience in sales or fleet management within the automotive industry or a related field, with a history of successful leadership and business achievements.
    • Strong grasp of sales principles, practices, and customer relationship management.
    • Ability to analyze data and market trends for strategic decision-making.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
    • Experience in the automotive/commercial vehicle sector.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
    • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
  • Strong familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.
  • Experience with data analysis tools to derive actionable insights from sales performance metrics.
