Our client, a leading company in the custom HVAC market, seeks a skilled professional to lead their compensation programs across the U.S. and Canada. This is a hands-on functional leadership role that focuses on aligning compensation with company goals and competitive practices, shaping the organization's compensation philosophy, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs to support organizational objectives.
- Utilize Workday for effective compensation management.
- Create and present comprehensive compensation funding models for executive approval.
- Collaborate with HR and finance to administer annual compensation processes.
- Support sales compensation cycles, including plan and commission model management.
- Provide guidance on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Oversee participation in salary surveys and analyze market trends to ensure competitiveness.
- Ensure alignment of new acquisitions with corporate compensation practices.
- Work with finance to adjust forecasts and annual funding as needed.
- 5-10 years of experience in Compensation, HR, or Total Rewards.
- Expertise in creating salary bands for enterprise-level organizations.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other technical tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Independent judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
