Job Title: Inventory Cycle Counter

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Shift: 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm

Pay: $21-24/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Counter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and data verification. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy
• Assist with full physical inventory counts as needed
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to ensure inventory accuracy
• Identify process improvements to enhance inventory control
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous inventory, cycle counting, or warehouse experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, and climbing (ladders may be required)
