- Obtain necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for procedures.
- Maintain sterility of field and instruments.
- Prepare requisitions correctly.
- Communicate with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and respect patient privacy.
- Verify patient identification as per AHS policy.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition post-contrast injections.
- Ensure availability of medical records and patient history.
- Initiate emergency response if complications arise.
- Maintain supplies and cleanliness in scanning rooms.
- Assist with CT storeroom and inventory management.
- Coordinate procedures and ensure efficient workflow.
- Screen for allergies and medication incompatibilities.
- Maintain QA/QC requirements and recognize equipment malfunctions.
- Notify radiologist of unusual findings for optimal patient care.
- CT registered; maintains current certification/licensure.
- Venipuncture skills and mandatory CPR certification.
- HS diploma/GED required.
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program.
- ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) required.
- NJDEP - New Jersey State X-Ray License required.
- BLS Certification required.
Salary : $82 - $85
