Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 Nights (1900-0730)
• Average Daily Census: 5. 8 rooms, 10 beds
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Up to every other weekend
• Certifications Required: ACLS and BCLS required, CCRN preferred
• On-call Requirement: May be placed on call as needed
• Floating Requirement: Will float to other units as needed, specifically ED
• Block Schedule: Not available, but flexible scheduling offered
• Locals Accepted: No, must be outside a 100-mile radius
• Pending License Accepted: Yes
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty
  
  

Special Requirements

• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response skills
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Multi-system organ failure management
• 12 lead EKG, IV insulin protocol, GI surgery experience
• Chronic/Acute Renal failure management
• IV therapy skills including ports, arterial lines, blood products, central/PICC lines, and IV starts
• Medication skills including continuous IV paralytics, sedation, emergency medications, and titration of drips
• Neurological case skills including CVA/Acute Stroke, EVD, hypothermia protocol, and more
• Respiratory/Thoracic skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube care, ventilator management
• Professional skills including infection precautions, phlebotomy, and wound care
