What you’ll be doing:
- Lead electrical engineering design and BIM coordination throughout the full project lifecycle
- Build and maintain advanced Revit models for power systems, lighting, telecom, grounding, and fire alarm systems
- Perform electrical calculations including arc flash, voltage drop, fault current, and load analysis
- Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP teams using BIM workflows
- Support RFIs, submittals, budgeting, scheduling, and technical troubleshooting during construction
- Conduct site inspections and ensure field installations align with engineered designs
- Lead BIM coordination meetings, clash detection reviews, and technical walkthroughs
- Mentor junior engineers and BIM personnel on Revit and electrical design best practices
What they’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6 years of electrical engineering experience within construction or design-build environments
- Advanced Revit proficiency for electrical systems modeling and BIM coordination
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes
- Experience with electrical calculations, technical drawings, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, Bluebeam, BIM 360/ACC, or Procore preferred
- NYC project experience strongly preferred
- Leadership experience managing teams or mentoring technical staff
Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
