An established insurance agency is looking for a driven Commercial Lines Producer to join their growing team. This is a primarily remote role with occasional in-office collaboration, offering the flexibility to build your book while still staying connected to a supportive team.
This is a true hunter roleโideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and taking ownership of their success.
๐ผ What Youโll Do
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow a commercial lines book of business
- Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and agency-generated leads
- Build and manage client relationships from initial outreach through bind and renewal
- Complete applications accurately and thoroughly
- Partner with account managers and underwriters to craft customized proposals
- Stay relationship-focused post-bind while account managers handle servicing
- Document all interactions and manage pipeline activity using CRM tools
- Utilize Nexsure (Dyad) for policy and account management (training provided)
- Attend team meetings in-office 3โ4 times per month
โ What You Bring
- 5 years of commercial insurance sales experience
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
- Proven success with cold calling and lead generation
- True โhunterโ mentality with a track record of building new business
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
