🌟 Staff Accountant
📍 Location: Elsa, TX (Onsite to start → Hybrid flexibility)
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)
💰 Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 DOE annual bonus potential

🚀 What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of Accounts Receivable (primary focus), including invoicing and reporting
- Support full-cycle accounting: GL maintenance, account reconciliations, month-end closing
- Assist with WIP schedules (over/under billing)
- Perform cost accounting (labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment)
- Assist with Accounts Payable as needed
- Support weekly payroll processing (~40 employees; hourly salary)
- Prepare workers’ comp and unemployment reports
- Run reports for sales tax, fixed assets, and fuel tax (outsourced for filing)
- Partner with project managers and operations teams
- AIA / progress billing
✅ What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
- 3 years of accounting experience PREFERABLY in the Construction industry
- Strong QuickBooks Desktop experience
- Full-cycle accounting knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Nice to Have:
- Construction accounting experience (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with WIP, job costing, and AIA billing
- AR and reporting experience
- Comfortable working cross-functionally
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- CPA
