About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients a Mechanical Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of industrial equipment at a manufacturing facility. This role is well-suited for early-career engineers seeking hands-on technical experience and structured professional development.
The position includes participation in a 14-month structured learning and development program focused on cement manufacturing operations, combining on-the-job experience, technical projects, and formal training.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of plant equipment
- Develop, implement, and monitor condition-based and preventive maintenance programs
- Analyze equipment performance using reliability and root-cause methodologies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment availability
- Coordinate maintenance activities using enterprise systems
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance teams
- Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and plant personnel
- Promote and support health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 0–3 years of relevant engineering or industrial experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments
Travel
- Approximately 5%
