Commercial Snow Removal Technician

Job Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients multiple Snow Equipment Operators / Plow Drivers to support commercial snow removal operations during the winter season. These positions are essential to keeping parking lots, walkways, roadways, and commercial properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events.

This seasonal opportunity also offers the potential to transition into full-time employment during the landscape season for qualified and high-performing individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow trucks, skid steers, front-end loaders, and other snow removal equipment safely and efficiently
• Clear snow and ice from parking lots, walkways, driveways, and roadways per service specifications
• Apply salt, sand, and de-icing materials as required
• Respond promptly to snow events with flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient operations
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
• Maintain accurate service logs and report equipment issues immediately
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial snow removal experience preferred
• Prior experience operating plow trucks and/or heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions under time-sensitive conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and available on short notice during snow events
• Valid driver’s license required
• Hoisting license and OSHA 10 certification preferred
• No formal education requirements
