Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
Talbot Health Services – Toledo, OH (Main Street)
Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN Available
Monday through Friday
Talbot Health Services is hiring an LPN or RN to support our behavioral health programs at our Main Street Toledo location. This role works directly with individuals receiving mental health and substance use treatment and is part of a coordinated, multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and carry out prescriber orders in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient physical and behavioral health status and report changes to the treatment team
- Complete nursing assessments and review health histories at intake and throughout treatment
- Educate patients on medications, symptom management, and overall health and wellness
- Assist with urine drug screens and routine clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with providers, counselors, and leadership to support continuity of care
- Follow all HIPAA and applicable state and federal compliance standards
- Active Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced setting
- Professional communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary staff
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment settings
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Experience with crisis intervention or de-escalation
- Monday through Friday structure
- No overnight or rotating hospital shifts
- Full-time, part-time, and PRN options available
