  • Collaborate closely with organizational leadership on strategic projects, staff meetings, and ad hoc committees.
  • Oversee external relations, community outreach, and partnerships to elevate the center’s visibility within its service area.
  • Manage and support special programs, such as AmeriCorps, ensuring alignment with funder expectations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Serve as the center’s Corporate Compliance Officer, participating in risk management and governance activities.
  • Act as the operational lead in the absence of the Executive Director, liaising with external agencies, community leaders, and funders as required.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient satisfaction efforts and incident management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of program and/or administrative oversight within a healthcare or community clinical setting, preferably in an FQHC environment.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience managing diverse operational teams.
  • Strong background in healthcare operations, finance, and compliance, especially related to Article 28 FQHC standards.
  • Proven ability to handle challenging patient-facing situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a demonstrated customer service focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with managed care regulations, credentialing processes, and program management is essential.
  • Ability to respond promptly to organizational needs, anticipate future requirements, and maintain effective office operations.
  • Willingness to attend community events, stakeholder meetings, and be "on call" as needed.
