Dermatologist - Outpatient

Our client, a reputable multi-specialty medical practice in the Hudson Valley dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, is hiring a Dermatologist. Join a dynamic team committed to clinical excellence and innovative dermatological solutions. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of skin conditions, including skin cancers and precancerous lesions, while providing both medical and cosmetic dermatology services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Performing in-office dermatologic procedures such as biopsies and excisions.
• Managing skin cancers with ongoing surveillance and follow-up care.
• Providing cosmetic procedures including Botox and dermal fillers.
• Prescribing medications in accordance with state laws.
• Educating patients on diagnoses, treatment options, prevention, and skin health.
• Collaborating with primary care providers and supervising nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Maintaining accurate medical documentation and participating in quality initiatives.
  
  

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology.
• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
